***NOTE***anyone that has a project they would like to accomplish or would like to

C.A.R.E. (Central Alexandria Revitalization Effort) Day was a group formed by Chet
Long, Don McClead and Dr. David Steele (sorry if I missed anyone) several years ago.
They got things started meeting in Dr. & Mrs Steele's dining room. This was, well
lets just say a more grand event early on. As you know many groups in our community
are putting forth great time and effort to impact change in our community (the baseball/softball
leagues are a recent and great example-
If you are not involved in a "group" then join one or organize a group from church,
work or ball team. Feel free to show your "team colors", by wearing work shirts,
team uniforms, etc. If you don't already have something, you can order shirts from
Rachel Robinson or Nancy Cook @ RAM Graphics, 724-
